Manufacturing Process
- Cages/reinforcement/jali are made as per IS:458.
- Mould release agent is properly applied inside the mould, and reinforcement is placed inside the mould, assembled with end-rings & tie-rod.
- Assembled moulds are placed on the spinning machine with the help of Chain-pulley or Electric Hoist.
- Concrete is mixed in the mixture machine as per the mix design and is placed at both ends of the mould opening.
- Initially, the spinning machine is started at low RPM, and concrete is poured inside the mould from both ends. RPM is controlled with the help of gearbox, reaves gears, or VFD.
- Due to centrifugal force, concrete is evenly distributed inside the mould, and extra water is squeezed out, resulting in a very dense, waterproof, and strong pipe.
- After the inside finishing of pipes, they are set aside for curing. Generally, it takes 24 hours to set the concrete.
- After ensuring proper setting, the moulds are opened, and pipes are put for curing.
- Pipes are cured for 7-21 days, and then siding is done. After this, the pipes are ready for dispatch.
Testing
- Testing of Concrete Pipes is done as per IS:3597.
- We have facilities for Three Edge bearing testing, Straightness Test, and Dimension Test.
